INCOMING TRANSMISSION…

Thanks for visiting my rift in the cyberspace-time continuum.

I'm an award- and biz-winning creative leader with 20 years of experience building teams, growing companies, and making brands matter to people. Still have a full head of hair.

I've led creative teams of 40+, built and grown departments, and helped win tens of millions in new business. Somewhere along the way, I became as interested in building the conditions for great creative as I am in making the work itself: the right people, culture, systems, and technology.

My background lives at the intersection of social, brand, digital, content, data, and emerging tech. I'm especially interested in what happens next: how AI can make creative organizations smarter and faster without making the work (or the people behind it) more generic.

I also geek out on behavioral science and the psychology of attention—why people notice, care, click, share, remember, and act—and how we can use those insights to build relevance for brands.

Art + Science + Mischief = my approach to marketing.

Over the years, I've partnered with everyone from Subway, Jolly Rancher, and Hellmann's to Google, Microsoft, HubSpot, Toyota, Hyundai, Ford, NBCUniversal, and Hulu—plus dozens more across just about every category in between. My work has been recognized by Cannes, The One Show, Effie, Webby, CLIO, SXSW, Communication Arts, Graphis, New York Festivals, ADDY, and Digiday. I've also served as a judge for the Pele Awards.

Before all that, I was a New York-born, Connecticut-raised, anagram-loving creative with a penchant for time travel and a soft spot for Oxford commas. Some things haven't changed.

I care about the work. But I care just as much about the people making it. And I still believe people do their best work when they're having fun.

See you in the future,
Brian
